Kristin Hartzell joined Parker/Hunter, a division of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, in 1994 following an 18 year banking career. As a Financial Consultant, Kris offers her individual and business clients a full range of investment products and services. These include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, IRAs, annuities, CDs, portfolio management, financial planning, retirement planning and estate planning. Kris appreciates that Janney Montgomery Scott LLC is a regional investment firm that offers a complete line of investment services, and access to local planning specialists and research analysts. This permits her to service her clients individually and professionally.
Kris’ investment philosophy follows a conservative approach that focuses on long-term objectives with implementation of portfolio analysis reviews for each individual client. Additionally, Kris takes pride in her commitment to continuing education. In an ever changing industry, she helps clients understand the major tax consequences, estate planning implications and long term financial planning advantages of their investments.

Personal:
A native of Clarion, Kris graduated from Keystone High School and lives in Shippenville with her husband Jim and daughter Devin. She is a member of the Knox United Methodist Church where she serves on the Church Council and Overseeing Facilities Committee. Additionally, Kris serves on the Board of Directors for Choice Enterprises, a nonprofit organization that provides services and structures that promote and support the participation of persons with disabilities in the workplace and community. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
