Abraham Moosa joined the firm
in 2002 after three years as a Financial Consultant at a national brokerage
firm. His background is accounting and auditing where he worked
for over 20 years for world-wide accounting firms. His qualification as
a Certified Accountant is from England. As a Financial Consultant
at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, Abraham offers his clients a full range
of investment products and services.
Abraham carefully reviews his client’s current financial position
and then bases recommendations on their risk tolerance, investment time
horizon, as well as their investment goals and objectives. Because of
the many investment choices today, he researches individual equities,
mutual funds, and other investment products to secure the right fit for
each client. Abraham’s investment philosophy focuses on achieving
long-term goals and objectives through proper diversification and asset
allocation, and he believes this approach also helps minimize the risk
inherent in investing in the stock market. Additionally, maintaining
constant communication with his clients and responding immediately to
their inquiries is a key component to his client service philosophy.
Abraham’s clients include: high net-worth individuals, conservative
individual investors, successful professional and business owners looking
for quality advice, and want to improve their net worth.
After moving to the United States, Abraham earned his NASD Series 7, 66,
and 31 licenses, as well as his life insurance and annuity licenses.
He recently passed the exam
of Wealth Management with Wharton School of Business and College of Financial
Planning and was awarded the title AWMA SM.
