Wally Danforth joined Parker/Hunter’s Asset
Management Department in 1995. A year later, he became a Financial Consultant
with Parker/Hunter, a divison of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. Prior to joining the firm,
Wally was a sales representative for Banta Corporation and was Vice President
of Sales for the Chicago and Milwaukee areas.
Wally believes in educating his clients about the benefits of long-term
investing through the firm's Asset Management and SELECT investment Advisors
programs. He enjoys the challenge of working with a variety of investors,
including individuals, businesses and foundations. Achieving his
clients' financial goals through diversification and providing the highest
level of service are his priorities.

Wally specializes in assisting investors with discretionary, fee-based money management platforms utilizing Parker/Hunter Asset Management and Parker/Hunter's SELECT Investment Advisors program. In addition, he provides comprehensive financial, retirement and estate planning for his clients.
Personal:
A Pittsburgh native, Wally received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Kenyon
College. He serves on the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh’s Corporate
Board helping to raise money through corporate membership programs. Wally
is also a Pittsburgh Regional Champion and volunteers on event and fundraising committees for The Mattress Factory and Presley Ridge Schools. He is a Fox Chapel volunteer fireman
and enjoys golf, squash, and fly-fishing.
