Joesph Costello joined the Washington office of Parker/Hunter, a division of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, in 1996. As a Financial Consultant, Joe offers his clients a full range of investment products and services including stocks and bonds, mutual funds, CDs, annuities, IRAs, and more. In addition, Joe has direct access to Janney Montgomery Scott’s specialists in retirement and financial planning, estate planning, equity research and portfolio management, should a client’s needs focus on those specific investment issues.
Joe works to make the best possible financial recommendations to his clients based on their investing goals. Joe works toward a conservative approach to investing. He likes for a portfolio to contain a diversified mix of investments that include growth and dividend stocks, as well as fixed income with laddered maturities and cash. Joe likes to remain in frequent contact with his clients in both good and bad times through appointments, phone calls or research mailings.

Personal:
Prior to joining Parker/Hunter, Joe was employed by two national investment firms. Joe and his wife Debbie reside in Washington with their teenage daughter Chrissy. Joe attended Immaculate Conception High School and received both his Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees from the University of Dayton. He is a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus and volunteers his time at his church’s annual fish fry. Additionally, Joe is a member of the PTA at Trinty Area Middle School and a softball coach and manager for TWIST softball. In his spare time, he enjoys baseball and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
