John C. Scarpitti joined Parker/Hunter, a division of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, in 1986
upon the completion of his Master of Arts degree from Miami University
in Oxford, Ohio.
John helps his clients build and monitor investment portfolios to meet
their financial goals. Taking into consideration time horizons, risk tolerance
and investment objectives, John designs a financial program utilizing
when needed Janney Montgomery Scott's Specialists in equity research,
financial planning, portfolio management, mutual funds, investment management,
options and insurance.
As a value-oriented Financial Consultant, John helps clients understand their
investment needs and how they can achieve their goals through patient,
appropriate and disciplined investing. Client service is a top priority
of John’s and he strives to exceed expectations when it comes to
client satisfaction.

A Sebring, Ohio native, John received his undergraduate degree from Mount

Ohio. John is a trustee for the Sebring West Branch Community Foundation
and is on the Finance Committee for St. Ann’s Church in Sebring.
Outside of the office he enjoys playing basketball and golf.
John resides in Salem with his wife Kathy and twin children Nicholas John
and Carolyn Marie.
