Michael Greb joined Parker/Hunter, a division of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC,
in 1981 as a Financial Consultant. Mike likes that the Firm’s investment philosophy matched his own - to put the needs
of clients first. Mike feels the professionally staffed support departments,
covering investment areas, are one of Parker/Hunter’s greatest strengths
and reasons why client needs can be met so effectively.
Taking into consideration asset allocation and long-term value-oriented
investments, Mike tailors programs for his clients utilizing Janney Montgomery Scott's Specialists in equity research, financial planning, portfolio
management, mutual funds, investment management, options, and insurance
when appropriate. Mike believes in helping his clients understand their
investment needs, making changes and adjustments when needed. He focuses
on long-term, disciplined investing and often advises cleitns to utilize
the Firm’s Asset Management or SELECT Investment Advisors programs
which adhere to this philosophy. Client service is a priority of Mike’s
and he strives to exceed expectations when it comes to client satisfaction.

Personal:
Prior to joining the firm, Mike spent 8 years with H.J. Heinz Company
as a supervisor for the baby food division. A Pittsburgh native, Mike
received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University
of Pittsburgh. He is also a graduate of the SIA Wharton College. Mike
served in the United States Air Force. He serves as a Board Member for
the International Bible Distribution Center and the Pittsburgh Experiment.
Mike and his wife Phyllis have 5 daughters and 8 grandchildren whom they
enjoy spending time with. In his spare time Mike enjoys golf and horseback
riding.
