Pete Schlicht offers his clients
a full range of investment products and services including stocks and
bonds, mutual funds, IRAs, annuities, CDs, portfolio management, financial,
retirement and estate planning, and more to both individuals as well as
businesses. Pete was attracted to Parker/Hunter, a division of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC because of its capability
to bring “Wall Street to Main Street” in addition to being
able to fashion unique financial solutions for each client to grow and
preserve wealth.
Pete’s investment philosophy begins with the foundation of a solid,
financial plan. Pete thoroughly reviews a client's goals, expectations,
priorities and needs to determine the best fit of the right plan.
Pete then marshals the broad resources of Janney Montgomery Scott to craft the investment
design for the financial plan's implementation. The plan and the
investment design are then carefully executed, expertly managed and prudently
monitored.

Personal:
Prior to joining the firm, Pete held professional and management
positions with nationally recognized companies in the areas of manufacturing,
technology, banking and finance. Raised in Butler, Pete attended Butler
High School and graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania State University
with a Bachelor of Science degree. Pete also holds a MBA from Duquesne University. He currently
resides in Sewickley and is a former a councilman for the Borough of Sewickley
as well as the former director of the Killick Foundation. Pete is also
asked to teach undergraduate and graduate Economics as an adjunct instructor
for area colleges and universities such as Penn State, Carlow College
and Seton Hill University.
