As a Financial Consultant, Taylor Raab offers his
clients a full range of investment products and services including stocks
and bonds, mutual funds, IRAs, annuities, CDs, portfolio management, financial
planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and more for both individuals
and businesses. He consults, as necessary, with Janney Montgomery Scott LLC’s
Specialists to determine appropriate investment strategies and
to formulate a plan to reach established goals.
Taylor believes one of the most attractive attributes of Parker/Hunter, a division of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC,
is the personal attention that is extended to employees and clients as
well as the firm’s 100 year history as a respected regional full
service investment firm.
Taylor’s investment philosophy focuses on understanding what makes
his clients happy while building a trusting relationship. Providing diligence
and knowledgable, sound advice enables Taylor to provide clients a level
of comfort with their investments. He works with each individual client
to first assess their financial situation and identify both short and
long-term goals. After developing a financial plan, Taylor continually
monitors a client’s portfolio to be sure it adheres to an individual’s
risk tolerance, recognizes changes in an individual’s financial
situation and stays on course to meet the specified goals.

Prior to joining the firm, Taylor worked in the Trust Department
in United Bank’s Wealth Management Department. Taylor joins his
father, Terry Raab, who has 34 years experience in the
financial services industry.
Born and raised in Charleston, WV, Taylor attended George Washington High
School and received his Bachelors of Art degree from Gettysburg College. Taylor is a member of the First Presbyterian
Church and enjoys travelling, football, basketball, hockey, and soccer.
Taylor looks forward to introducing his friends and business acquaintances
